Stuffed Peppers

  1. Boil the green peppers for 5 minutes, drain and set aside
  2. Combine tomatoes, onion, celery, tomato sauce, water, salt, and pepper in a pot and bring to a boil to make the sauce
  3. Combine ground beef, rice, basil, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl and spoon into the green peppers
  4. Place peppers in the saucepot and spoon some sauce over the tops
  5. Cover and simmer on medium-low heat for 40-45 minutes until the beef is cooked through
